The Alpha Phi Chapter had 3 awards bestowed upon them at the Loving Cup Lunch during the 2nd day of the 167th General Convention. The awards are as follows.
*Virginia Tech Award- highest in grades for the region. This is the 2nd consecutive Virginia Tech Award won.
*John Holt Duncan Award- presented to the Alpha Phi for its innovative Pillow Fight philanthropy which raised over $2000 for hurricane relief.
*Charles Henry Hardin Award- the Alpha Phi sent the highest percentage of its members to leadership opportunities this past year. 27 spots (46.55% of the chapter) were taken up by Alpha Phi Betas this year.
